"All the Stones the Builders Rejected"
(And some days it takes more Stones than others...) Where Mythical Bestiary meets Contemporary Culture and Chews On Its Leg Until Covered with Slobber.
I Now Have an Answer for That Question, "If You Had a Time Machine..."
I have never regretted my escape from childhood until this moment: Shelly Fabares and Barbara Eden on a beach blanket together in 1964. Oh, to be nine years old again, or 19 years old in 1964...
In matters of taste there can be no dispute. Shelly Fabares was, I think, my first pre-adolescent media crush in reruns of "The Donna Reed Show" on WGN, and still a fine figure of a woman, before even Elsa Martinelli in "Hatari" when I was six. And Barbara Eden, is, well, Barbara Eden. Even my closest female friends agree that Tony Nelson must have been the most deeply closeted gay man in any sitcom-- I mean, given a choice between what Jeannie's offering and hanging out with Roger...? There's something seriously wrong with that relationship...
Verification word: lipoletn, a new drug for controlling lycanthropy.

This photo could only be better if Julie Newmar and Yvonne Craig were fighting in their Catwoman and Batgirl outfits, respectively.

If that was really 1964, then Barbara Eden was 33 there. Not that a nineteen year old me would complain.
